This lovely Stylish Sideboard is a great intermediate project. However, if you are a beginner who is not afraid of a challenge, then by all means, give it a try. The digital PDF Plans include easy to follow and clear step by step instructions, together with 3D diagrams, recommended tools, a material and cut list. Painting and varnishing tips are also included.
Metric measurements are used, and standard South African wood sizes, however, without much fuss, one can always convert this to imperial units. If you choose to have your wood cut at your local hardware store, then this project can be built with limited tools, eliminating the need for a table saw and mitre saw, making the project even simpler and quicker to build.
This really is a handy piece of furniture and can be used for many different purposes. A games cabinet, stationary cabinet, book case, computer, iPad and cell phone charging station, for crockery and cutlery storage, to mention but a few. Its slim design means it can fit in small and narrow spaces, yet still store away a considerable amount. Plans can be easily adjusted to suit your requirements.
