The cutest greenhouse on the block! This charming little greenhouse is sized just right for a small family. Well thought out plans are optimized for minimal cutting and material waste. Fits most standard 36″ wide screen or storm doors.
Watch us build it in this video tutorial:

Plans do not include the customizations made in photos: Vent, raised beds, interior finish; Plans are designed to work with standard corrugated plastic panels with 24″ wide coverage, but panels may vary, so always check with manufacturer install guides.

We adjusted our own. We added 4 feet to the length and added (built two) of the same ends with screen doors for walk through and sliding windows for ventilation.
When you pay for the plans is there an option to adjust the size? I am Looking to take it 10×24.
Hi,
The greenhouse looks great. Can the plans be adjusted to accommodate twin layer polycarbonate instead of corrugated plastic?
Thanks
Video looks amazing and thinking of building for my wife. What is a general ballpark for material cost?
I like the look of this style greenhouse.
Is it possible to get the plan in a 12 x 30 size? I was also considering adding some vents in the side walls to allow for some flow through ventalation. Could the plans be customized to accommodate those as well? For the vents something as easy as closable louvers were my thoughts.
Please let me know if these items might be available in a plan design I could obtain from you.
Thank you so much
Hello. I an in western new york and love this plan. Question – will this greenhouse eventually rot due to moisture and sun exposure?
Good morning,
Do you have plans for a 12 x 14?
Thanks!
Tried to purchase the plans with a activated and registered VISA Debit Gift Card (from Walmart) but the website kept rejecting the transaction. Are there any plans to modify the website to use gift cards? Thanks.
Hi Anna I want to make this greenhouse but I can only do a 6×8 for the size of my yard, an 8×8 would be pushing it. How would I cut down your size?
Hello how the devil are you?
As Mitch has already asked, could you if possible give a rough cost of what it might be for the materials? my reason for this is that I am on a bit of a budget and am weighing the cost of building this or purchasing a metal framed greenhouse.
Ana hasn’t answered, but from my own experience, IF you can afford to do so, build this greenhouse rather than wasting your money on a metal-framed greenhouse. You’ll be much happier. Those metal-framed greenhouses do NOT hold up to inclement weather. The manufacturers say they’ll withstand high winds (60-mph, maximum), but they don’t. I had one, only up for a few months, and we had straight-line winds, blew it away. And we weren’t the only ones. Friends had a similar one, from the same manufacturer, and theirs blew away in the same storm front.
I read above that the plans should automatically send but I have not yet received them as of this message and I did look in junk and spam email. Can you help me out as I was hoping to get the lumber ordered by tomorrow in order to begin the build on Friday.
I got them – Thanks Jen. I appreciate your prompt response.
Can i order a plan 12×20 green house
I absolutely love this design! I’d like to use this plan to build around an above ground swim spa I bought. Is it possible to customize this size to 12 x 20’ ?
I ordered these plans 2 months ago and have not recieved them as of yet. I have the receipt that I printed when I ordered.
Hi Judy,
Thanks for letting us know and for supporting our vendors on Spruc’d! Plans are automatically sent to the email used on the transaction, but can sometimes end up in the spam folder. I just manually re-sent the plans – please let me know if you’re still unable to access them. Thanks again!
What size is this greenhouse?
12′-0″ x 8′-9″
Hello! I built this greenhouse and thought that I’d share thoughts I had. first of all thank you for sharing this plan, the video tutorial and everything. Super helpful. it was awesome the design was meant to make the most use of building supplies, however, that also left exactly zero overlap on the roof panels. Perhaps you could lower the panels an inch from the very top since that is covered by a ridge? Not sure. once fastened I had a leaky seam which I had to then add metal flashing to prevent leaks. . you also suggested using furring strips (if desired). I found them to be totally necessary, so it may be helpful for people to plan on using them.
Thanks for sharing your experience with building this greenhouse. I was wondering if you can give me a ball park figure on what you spent for materials. I realize that materials will vary in price based on location so I’m really just trying to get an idea. Thx for the help.
gerat job
Ana, I am interested in building this small greenhouse in Alaska. Will this greenhouse carry the snow load? Your video doesn’t specifically say where your uncle lives, which is why I ask. 🙂
Thanks!
Green house turned out great. I included a deck foundation. Thank you for designing this! Is there a place to upload pictures?
Hi There,
This is such a cute little green house, but I also would need to downsize to 6 X 12 or 6 x 9. Do you have any plans for this size?
