The cutest greenhouse on the block! This charming little greenhouse is sized just right for a small family. Well thought out plans are optimized for minimal cutting and material waste. Fits most standard 36″ wide screen or storm doors.
Watch us build it in this video tutorial:

Ana,
I really like the construction simplicity of your greenhouse plan.
But,
I attempted to create an account and was unsuccessful; some unknown rules for establishing an account.
After repeated attempts to create an account and purchase the plans, I was blocked.
Please help
I am anxious to get rolling on this plan

Would LOVE if you had a similar set of plans for a Lean-to style, that’s meant to go along a fence or building wall. I’m planning on modifying between these plans and a couple other you-tube videos I’ve seen to build something for the roughly 5’x10′ span that I want to utilize along my fence for a greenhouse.
Thanks for making such comprehensive, and thoughtful plans and tutorial videos!
Do you heat this in the winter? If so, what do you use?
How well does it hold heat in, in the winter?
Thank you
Dana
Hi Ana,
are there metric measures in the plan ? Centimeter etc? I consider building this house.
Thanks
Alex
Would you happen to know how this holds up to high winds?

Hi George,
Thanks for your purchase! Plans are automatically sent to the email used on the transaction. Sometimes they can end up in the spam folder. I just resent the plans, so please let us know if you’re still unable to download them. Thanks again!
Hi Ana,
Love the little greenhouse! I’m not a handy person, but thinking I might give it a go with help from my dad and maybe a neighbor. Before buying plans an approx cost to build would be helpful (I see you did post an update as $1000 Alaska price – Thanks). I was going to ask about snow load and material weathering, but if you are in Alaska…. I think I will be fine in Ontario!
Lastly….. the base…… I don’t plan on putting a garden in the greenhouse…. I will be adding shelves and a surface for seedlings and other propagation. I will also winter potted plants in it. Can I still build on the ground or should I look at creating a floor? How best/easiest to level the structure?
Thanks
Sarah
Hi Ana!
I have the same questions as a few others?
Do you have a smaller plan available for this greenhouse – 6×12 or 6×10?
OR
Will you be offering smaller plans of this design for sale and if so – when? Please.
Thanks.
TaraB
I purchased these plans on June 8,2020. My credit card (through pay-pal) was charged. Have not received plans as of July 14, 2020. How do I get these plans?
Hi James,
Thanks so much for your support! Plans are automatically sent to the email used on the transaction. Sometimes they can end up in the spam folder. I just manually re-sent them – please let us know if you still aren’t able to access them. Thanks again!
I made the purchase how do I get the plans? I checked my email
Can this one be downsized to 6 x 12, 9 x 12 is too big for the area
Thanks
Pat
Please provide recommendations for PolyCarb glazing on the roof and sides. The light transmission on PolyCarb Clear is 93%, PolyCarb Translucent White 78%, and PolyCarb Smoke 84%. I am located in NorthEast Arizona in the mountains, approx 6400 ft elevation. During Summer months it averages 80 – 95 degrees during the day, and 50 – 65 during the night. Winter months Near or below freezing day and night with the highs in the 50 – 60’s.
The A-Frame video was a great 🙂 visual addition to the building instructions Ana! You have a great way of simplifying your instructions, and offering tips to the layperson. Have you thought of designing a rain barrel construct that would capture stormwater off its corrugated roof? It would be a great way to use that runoff for greenhouse use. ..Maggie (1000 Islands)
I was thinking exactly this myself!
Question. When you purchase the plans, do you get instance access to download?
Hi Doug,
Yes, once purchased, plans are automatically sent to your email address. Thanks!
Hi, my name is Geff Wilkey, what size is overall length and width please.
Many thanks ….Geff
COST UPDATE: We spent about $1000 on this greenhouse, Alaska prices (which tend to be higher than most places).
Is the Gable Greenhouse Plan available in a 6 x 12 design, the 9×12 is too big I realized that after I purchased the plan?
Thanks Pat
I have a framing nailer and lots of nails. Is there any reason I can’t use those instead of screws?
Average cost to build this one? Thanks so much
Thanks for making these available for sale! I was wondering if you gave any idea how much materials cost for this plan? I know it will vary by location, but do you have a ballpark?
Hello Ana thanks once again for this greenhouse, I do love being in the garden pottering in the spring and summer I guess I like all seasons,.I don’t have space for something this big but will try to do something eventual living in the UK we get lots of rain up north but weather is amazing right now.
