This 18 page printable PDF plan details the build instructions needed to build a DIY modern outdoor chair like shown above.  The chair is constructed with standard construction lumber–just 2x2s, 2x4s and 2x6s.  It’s also assembled with wood glue, dowels, and a few screws.  However, instead of dowels, this could easily be modified to use pocket hole screws if desired.
